At CICS Prairie, we believe that learning extends far beyond textbooks and classroom walls. From before the first bell to long after the last bell rings, a whole new world of discovery, creativity, and connection come to life! Our vast array of extracurricular activities, sports, and after school programs are designed to help every student find their passion, build new skills, and discover their unique spark, while our soft start program offers students choice and voice in how they start their school day!

Whether your student dreams of making the winning basket, singing on stage, or leading a school initiative, there's a place for them to shine. Enrichment opportunities provide invaluable chances to collaborate with peers, develop leadership skills, and explore interests in a supportive and engaging environment. From sports like soccer, cheerleading, girls and boys basketball, boys and girls flag football, and track and field to dynamic clubs and other extracurriculars like Guitars Over Guns, Uniting Voices choir, computers, Singing Stars, art class, t-shirt making, drama club, and Kids Off the Block, our students are constantly learning, growing, and having fun, ensuring there's something for everyone to dive into. Additionally, our afterschool programming in partnership with Palmer Park offers clubs and activities like homework help and arts and crafts, allowing students to explore their interests and get what they need to be successful in various ways!

Getting involved in activities beyond the classroom not only enriches the school experience but also helps students build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of belonging.
