Ms. Beucher has spent her career dedicated to educational leadership. Inspired by her family of educators and an early love of learning, Ms. Beucher knew from a young age that she wanted to become a teacher. She believes that students need stimulating, hands-on learning experiences that will prepare them for future challenges throughout life—that’s why she focuses on academic growth, supporting social and emotional development, helping teachers grow in their practice, and using data to drive instruction and school goals. She collaborates with the team at CICS Prairie to cultivate community partnerships, developing as a community hub, and opening access to educational opportunities for all students.

Ms. Beucher’s hands-on approach to leadership builds strong relationships with students, staff, and families alike. She fosters a culture of high expectations and accountability and because of that, CICS Prairie has seen growth in family involvement and leadership effectiveness, leading to expanded design teams and increased parent PTA and BAC involvement.

Ms. Watkins ushers teacher and student growth through meticulous planning, support systems, and high expectations. Ms. Watkins believes that providing students with opportunities and encouragement allows them to surpass expectations, highlighting the importance of building confidence, student leadership, and student voice alongside academic achievement. She is excited about inspiring students to shape their own futures, a journey she passionately supports. Ms. Watkins considers her role at CICS Prairie as 'heart work,' driven by a desire to push, support, and inspire both teachers and students to reach their full potential.
